Bridgewater Middle School Reviews

I went to bridge water the first two years that it was open and it was terrible. The rating from a students perspective and a students are totaly different. The teachers other than my gifted teacher did not challenge me at all. Coming from new jersey to a class at bridgewater seemed like a downgrade from education. And in my mind i was bored in my classes for two years straight. The rules are ridiculous when it comes to the courtyard (which is made to be walked on) because we were not allowed to walk on it. So if you are looking at this rating, i suggest asking students who have been there to see if the school is up to par.

Great school. Moved my daughter in to start 7th grade. She was very welcomed by both staff and students. Many clubs to join, great band program. Excellent gifted teacher. Very challenging classes, yet fun for my daughter! Great support for the kids with tutoring program 2 mornings per week. Love this school!!

I went to Bridgewater the first year it was open, half way through the year (came from a Long Island school) and it was very easy! I was in honors classes getting straight A's. I had a few good-great teachers but the rest were poor. Since I left BWM, I have been going to Windermere Prep and like it a lot more, feel that I have to work a lot harder to get straight A's (which is what my mom wants) and I feel like family there. I don't know what BWM was like last year, however, if your child is coming from a private school or one which they had to work hard to reach a 4.0, then you might want to consider a different option for your child's education.

This is a wonderful school! I attended it in sixth grade, and had to move over the summer, but I'll be happily returning for 8th grade because I'm moving back in June! Never have I been so eager to go back to a school. I've had some pretty awful experiences with other schools in Florida, but Bridgewater is different. The teachers and kids are funny, accepting, and smart. The programs are fantastic and the curriculum is challenging yet benficial to my education. I'm especially excited to see one of my favorite teachers again, Mrs. Leisher. She rocks! I can't wait to go back! :)

I am currently a 7th grader this year and i think it is the best public middle school i have ever been to. It is great! even though the school lunch may not be so great but the teachers are fantastic! The library is huge and has wonderful books. The classrooms are very big and wonderful people.

I personally believe this school has very great courses like Algebra I Honors and Geometry Honors. And so high school credits are easy to get there and so i think that bridgewater is very great but i would like to feel more like a eighth grader and have like the 8th grade bash and i miss drama and handbells as a elective but overall the staff and comitee and other things are amazing

Although a brand new school, Bridgewater has already established a sturdy curriculum and organized schedule. I came here from Windermere Prep, and found it to be a lot more convient for me; not to mention it's $12,000 cheaper. The teachers are all likeable, many with great humor, and the classrooms are just as modern as any expensive private school's. I'm in all advanced classes, and I am constantly being worked to at my highest abilities -- the lessons are both challenging and creative. There is a wide variation of opportunities, one for each unique student's talent - arts, band, plays, sports, chorus, and many others. I am very grateful for my transfer to this great school, and I believe many other students share my opinion. Go Bobcats!

This school is wonderful. It's highly organized and the teachers and staff are likeable, well prepared and willing to help. My son transferred from Denn John Middle in Kissimmee where he had daily problems with bully and his grades were mostly c's and d's. His grades improved 100%! He was on the A/B honor roll for the whole year and finished on the principal's honor roll. The change of environment (bully free) and the well organized and strong curriculum was a God send. He blossomed socially and academically. Thank you Bridgwater, you rock!

This brand new school has, in my opinion, just finished a fantastic year! The student population is made up of well rounded, intelligent individuals. The results of their testing speaks for itself! The principal and staff are professionals who seem to make learning fun at Bridgewater. The extracurricular opportunities are an important part of the social development at middle school. I have another child that attended private school during middle and high school and I am just as happy with our free public middle school! Way to go Bobcats!
